Uses in my apartment fit perfectly in my closet. Now use it in my parents house while I stay here for a pit. They love it as well. Will most likely purchace a new one for them when I move out. Easy to assemble very sturdy for shoes. Looks nice. Shelves are spaced nicely though taller shoes have to sit on top. Overall everyone loves it. Perfect hight for a toddler learning self independence as well if your into the montesouri stuff. You could look at it as having 4 shelves instead of 3 cause shoes can fit just fine underneath well. It definitely functions the way it should.
