While these bags are generally used to cleaning clothes (through wash and dryer) or for storing delicates, I have another use for them.Last year, I developed a form of pneumonia brought on by severe allergic reaction. To what, we aren't sure but I have been left with damage to my lungs and I find that I can react to a number of things which did not bother me before.Dust is one of those things and so are other types of fibers. I do a lot of crafts, including working with yarn and floss and I can never be sure what is clinging to the items when I purchase them.We discovered that by using these bags and running my new purchases (or older items which may have accumulated dust in the meantime) through the dryer on air dry only, the things that cause me issue are simply blown out of the dryer and the house.I had thought, originally, that I might have to give up my crafts and hobbies but because of these bags and using them in this fashion, I can continue to do what I enjoy without risking my health.I have two sets of these. One which includes medium and large and the other is a sort of sampler set of all sizes. I like both sets because I can choose which size will meet my needs. The larger bags can hold multiple skeins of yarn while the smallest can be used for cotton embroidery floss.I've also taken to running my sweaters and other less often used clothes through the dryer in these bags to remove any potential of dust et al.
