Small Soft Storage Closet Organizer Bins with Easy Flip Lids Damask - Set of 2.First thing I noticed about these once I opened them was the strong odor.Not sure how to describe the odor they had maybe of a chemical nature. Was not plastic or rubber really.Anyway I had to open them up and leave them outside for two days to air out.We have a couple kids with allergies so I could not have these around them until they aired out.They come flat and have a cardboard bottom that you put into themThe sides and top also are reinforced with cardboard to they stand up fine once they are unfolded.They are a light gray color with Damask pattern to them.Nice to look at when on a shelf instead of the stuff that hides inside of them.I like that the top is hinged since so often the kids open up a craft tote and leave the lid who knows where.With these they can not lose the top since it is attatched to the box.I keep one filled will all of our ribbons and the other one right now has stickers and specialty craft papers.These are really making the craft room look so much neater and easy to organize.Only thing I wish they had that had a little window on the front of them where I could place a piece of paper to say what is in them.We often switch out our craft supplies as the season change or we run out of items and switch to another craft craze.Right now these fit the bill for this crazy craft family.The boxes are solidly constructed and hold without shedding any lint. The folding design doesn't take away from the structure integrity once it is fully expanded. One star removed for the lid design. It is a flap lid and does not seal as well as one with a sided lid. The fit is fine, it's just that I'd prefer an airtight box so clothes do not absorb odors and the content of the box won't release odors. There were no issues with poor stitching or smelly boxes as other buyers report.They are stack-able, as the image suggests, and you can easily assemble 3 to 4 tall.Made from the same perforated material as many reusable shopping bags, these boxes are cleverly made. The box and lid are on piece with a separate piece for the box bottom.They are very easy to assemble, look good, and the little handle is a nice touch.There are two improvements that keep me from giving it five stars. First there should be a place for labels on the front. Second, for photo storage the materials should be acid-free and I see nothing about that.DII Breathable Non-Woven Soft Storage Assorted Boxes are quite useful. They come packaged flat, pop up to use fast and easy! The color is neutral and has a faint pattern--feminine. The boxes are generous in size and hold a lot safely and cleanly. Could be used in a closet or on bookshelves or even under the bed. They are pretty enough to leave out in full view.Taller than I envisioned. I use similar containers for my food photography dishes. These will be tall enough to hold goblets and milk shake drink containers. They would be wonderful for yarn as they aren't super heavy duty- you could store on a shelf and pull out with the lightweight handle. They 'll work for my dishes but I"ll have to be careful about how much weight I include and the handles won't handle too much stressThese are great organizers for my closet. I use them for craft supplies. The "fabric" feels more like a really sturdy paper towel, but so far it's held up. I'd be nervous if I tried to put anything sharp inside, though. All you do is press on the bottom from inside to expand. Each box has a lid that is attached from the back and lifts up and closes. There are no buttons or zippers. These boxes are perfect for some clothes, or used as organizers for office materials. I use mine to organize small toys for my children such as action figures or Lego pieces. They are short enough in height that you can slide under most beds, etc.I love them because they help with organization and most people struggle with that! Five stars. Recommended!Sooo... these are really nice for storing photos, record albums or clothing that is going under the bed. It's pretty obvious how to use them, but I'd like to point out a couple of things that may not be obvious from the photos and description: These function a lot like those cubes that you unfold and put in cubbies. They have the cardboard piece that you place in the bottom and it makes them sturdier. The lid is not a zipper, as I first assumed, but a piece that folds out and creates a lip over the bottom portion of the box. It's kind of hard to tell from the photo, but there is a nice boho/paisley pattern (very subdued) that will go with lots of styles.
