I love this system! I only rated the sturdiness 4 stars because it is only intended for lightweight use, but for what it is (heavy-duty wire and vinyl), it is incredibly sturdy! Cube system consists of panels of thick vinyl sheet "fabric" stretched across heavy-duty, white epoxy-finished wire frames, joined at the corners with heavy-duty plastic connectors. The panels fit snugly but it is not air-tight, and the corners are left open for frame connection so there's a small bit of airflow, perfect for textiles. The cubes are 14"Hx14"Wx18"D, nice and roomy. The whole thing is very clever and you can arrange the panels and cubes in endless ways and add more later to expand. The taut panel-fabric is waterproof sheet vinyl, but I would not expose the wire frames to constant moisture. The doors are white vinyl fabric on frames, with a metal-trimmed hole on each to open, and no real "catch" to close it, you just push it shut. The side and back panels are dark-gray/black with a subtle swirl-embossed texture on the vinyl. I like it a lot. I was searching for cube-style storage for clothes and smalls and this system has little doors to keep privacy in and dust out! This 8-cube unit came with a 14" width clothes hanging bar that hooks over two special-purposed reinforced side panels, and you can create a tall closet space by not installing one or two of the cube floor panels, and the doors can be connected to form a tall door. The manual states a single cube load capacity is 22 lbs., but the cube floor panels are vinyl fabric stretched taut, so it is almost, but not truly, a rigid surface. The whole rig is designed for lightweight storage for towels, folded clothes, shoes, boxes off yarn, stuff like that. I can see this in a guest room or a dorm, or even a bath/pool room if the frame were kept dry. Possibly even on a camping trip, with panels connected to make privacy walls or enclosures. It seems an endlessly adaptable system of panels and connectors. I'm well pleased with it. The package arrived in 4 days. It included a thank you note in a lovely gold envelope (sweet) from the manufacturer, giving a brief story of their system, and I intend to contact them to see if they make these in colors! The package also includes instructions, a little wooden mallet to tap parts into place, an extra set of large connectors, sets of smaller white snap-on connectors to stabilize the frame at the connection points and to create the tall doors, a pack of 150 small clear zip-ties if you really wanna get stable, and some stickers for the doors saying "tops, bottoms, shoes", etc. If you need lightweight, portable, flat-pack, water-resistant storage (except for the frame wires), with little doors (it's the little doors that sold me!), get one and try it out, and you can add more later! The only negative thing I could say is that these panels are made of vinyl and there is a VERY SLIGHT off-gassing of vinyl smell WHEN FIRST OPENED, similar to a pool toy. This took about 24 hours to dissipate and they're fine now, but you could air out the panels for a day or two before assembly. Finally, it does take a fair bit of finger pressure to pop the wire corners into the connectors (sturdy), and they include a little wooden mallet to help, but older folks may need some assistance. I would also advise actually reading the assembly instructions; it seemed a "no-brainer" right out of the box but I got it wrong the first time! They do recommend two-person assembly, but it was fine for one. All in all, for my purposes, I love it!I use for kitchen i like it not badThis is my 2nd KOUSI storage unit. In 2019 I purchased one for my bedroom and it does not compare to any other unit like this. I bought this new one for my daughter's stuff that was piled in the living room. It's actually going to solve a lot of problems and save us a lot of time. This company has incredible customer service and I couldn't be happier with their products.UPDATE I'M SENDING THIS BACK I COMPLETELY BUT ALL PIECES TOGETHER ASSUMING IT WOULD BE MORE STRONGER. NOT WORTH THE MONEY.Instructions kinda hard till my common sense kicked in. Small squares are the back wall just thought I should mention. It's not sturdy YET!!! I JUST ONLY PUT THE MAIN PART TOGETHER. But it's holding all my stuff literally all my clothes cosmetics and all. Everything is inside my storage. When I get home I'll make a real video and also show what's not put together yet but it's standing strong kindaMore sturdy than I thought and does not topple over. I divided and made 3 separate units and love the deep storage bins and clean look. If you don’t need heavy duty storage, this works great.Overall I am happy with this product, however I was a bit disappointed that it does not come with any spare parts. I had a panel break on me while setting it up (my own fault) so that was one cube less automatically. It's also unclear that the unit must be set up just so, otherwise you don't get exactly the number of cubes ordered. Example: I ordered 20 cubes, planning to build them into multiple units. I ended up with 17 cubes and not enough connectors to finish even that many (I used the included zip ties on the last two corners). If it was set up as one unit, the panels would share connectors and there would be enough to squeeze out 20 cubes, but it must be done just so. Still not bad for the price but expectations fall a bit short.The design is simple and easy to set up with lots of patience. They look great when finished and hold a good amount.Overall, I like the cubicles. It's exactly what I wanted. However there were two issues with the product. 1.) - The installment instructions were difficult to understand. We ended up searching it on YouTube for instructions. That is how we built it. 2.) We didn't realize until we got to the top of the structure that several panels were missing. We could not build the final cubicle. The good news is that the company provided a letter that stated that if there was any damage or missing parts to contact them immediately. I emailed them from the address they provided. They responded the next day and said that they would be sending the missing panels. That's great customer service, but I believe that there should not have been anything missing. My concern also is that the company seems to be out of China. How long will it take for me to receive the missing parts?Your fist mistake would be to try and follow the assembly instructions. Your best bet is to look at a picture of the finished product and go from there. Once you get it no problems. Goes together rather easy if you ditch the instructions. I like it and would buy again.
