The bags are great. They maintain their suction, unlike reports on less expensive bags. I only wish they came in a smaller size that would fit in a carry-on suitcase. Traveling with bulky clothes during the colder months could be so much easier if some bags were made to carry-on size.If you don’t have a vacuum, the hand pump is sooo easy, and does a great job. I love these things, but They are definitely fragile. If you are continuously moving them around and reusing them, you have to be careful.I just received these and am using them on some large pillows, so far they’re airtight. I have another brand that doesn’t hold. I like that the round closure used for the suction has a screw cap, instead of a snap. I will purchase some more. I recommendI’ve used three bags out of five. After 30 hours they are holding the vacuum. I didn’t overstuff the bags, two pillows in one, another two pillows in another, and an oversized comforter in the third bag. Shrunk everything by probably 2/3s.I bought the large bags and was able to get most of my wardrobe in these bags. Added large coats and jeans. These bags worked very well. I would definitely buy again.Just moved over states and needed a method to move all mine and my boyfriends closet, this was a lifesaver, I even bought another pack to use for linens and towels, and my squishmallows, might be a little pricey but was worth it, one thing i will say is the bags are heavy once you suck the air out.I bought these when I was getting discharged from the Navy and moving across the country. I don’t trust military movers so I tried to pack as much of my stuff as possible to minimize their necessity and these worked perfectly! I fit four times as much stuff in my bag than I did before these. I’ve used them multiple times since and my cat has scratched a few of them and they’re still usable. I will buy more the next time I move.These are very helpful. unfortunately one of the bags was damaged which I realized after it kept inflating multiple times. The bag went to a waste. I’m not sure if they are very helpful with traveling as the bag shape gets weird once you pump out the air and it might get harder to arrange them.update: Changing my rating to 5 as they reached out to me and processed a replacement. I bought a pack of five large and now my two double duvets, two single duvets, 5 pillows and loads of cushions are all in a normal sized trunk with space to spare. They've been an amazing investment!PRO:- Overall quality is good, the plastic bag, closure and vacuum cap are sturdy and none of the 5 bags leaked over 4 months of storage- Generous size, as per the picture the medium sized bag could hold 2 rows of Jackets (many stacked on top of each other!)- Easy to seal, thanks to the provided plastic clippers to help you apply force to the sealing mechanism- Can be reused multiple timesCONS:- Just requires a little bit of strength to securely clip together the sealing borders, but nothing impossibleOverall score: 10/10I have used similar products in previous years and none of them worked very well. However decided to try one more time after reviewing this product and sure glad I did. I ordered medium size and upon opening was initially somewhat disappointed. Looked cheap. However I was surprised at how well it worked. My aim is to compress clothes which I normally fit in my standard suitcase into a new backpack carry on case. I deliberately did not use a vacuum but only used the supplied pump as it would need to work when on holiday and vacuum would not be available. Worked great. Left the compressed bag for a week without any loss. How wrong could I be - an excellent product. I am now happy that i can get 15 days worth of clothes compressed into my backpack AND keep the weight to 10KG (22lbs) so that it will work with any airline carry on policy (Ryanair is 10kg for example). I have now purchased other sizes to use at home. Product works well. Highly recommended.So in the midst of covid 19, I a student have my rent expiring in a couple of months, no job and have to move back over the water to the IOM. In the 3 years I've been here I've accumulated quite a bit of stuff and these storage bags have been my saviour! They are VERY easy to use, even a dumb dumb like me can manage. The manufacturers very kindly include a pump although I'm not entirely sure what for- vacuum was far more effective and I would just default to that. I'm using these mainly for bulky clothing like jumpers and bedding which are the real space stealers. As for how they work for packing, not got them into the boxes yet so will update on how that goes.UPDATE! No matter how sturdy these feel, do not accidentally drop them down the stairs. Once you puncture them no amount of ductape will save you. Anything less that a tremble down the stairs and I think you're set. The plastic feels very thick, like high quality plastic packaging. Very easy to use and excellent storage capacity.
