Don't know if this works or not it came in packaging like this and disassembled. No info or directions. Needed a quick fix, went the cheap route, maybe a bad ide.Buyer beware!UPDATE: this did get the job done however a longer, sturdier, assembled one with some instruction might have been helpful. Wasn't quite long enough to do the job, had to put it all the way in until just the handle/crank was above the hole in the toilet bowl. Luckily the bowl water was clean and the clog was deep or this would not have been pleasant. The one with the longer fixed handle would be better for that type of job. Make sure you get one with a long "snake" part. Used this and the Green Gobbler powder. All in all it was ok, took some work, still a savings over calling a plumber!
