I needed lighting in a spot where there was no place to plug in an electric one. It was very easy to install and the only thing I'm concerned about is that it does take EIGHT AA NEW BATTERIES and I have no idea how long these batteries will last. Batteries are expensive these days, so we'll see how it goes. It's a light that I won't be using all the time, so hopefully the batteries will last a very long time before I would need to replace them. I followed the instructions and used brand new batteries and tested them before use, which is what they advised. Bright white light is what I expected, and what I'm getting. Thank You!
