I spent a lot of time searching for the perfect scarf holders. Many look like they'd wrinkle the scarves, some would only hold a few, some would require too much folding of the scarves, some didn't look well made. These are SOLIDly made. I agree with two other reviewers on these points: (1) the top hook is a bit tight on the closet rack -- so, we used pliers and wrapped a towel over the top hook, then spread it open a little. (2) to remove one scarf at a time, tilt the scarf holder to one side so as to not remove others with it. In addition to tilting the holder, it still takes a little extra handling to avoid messing up the other scarves on it, but this holder is very well designed and I can't see how the design could be any better. I buy amazing scarves at thrift stores and have a fairly large and growing collection. Got 3 of these, and as a result, shipping was free. I set them up this way: One holder is for winter scarves, one for summer scarves, and the 3rd is for spring/fall scarves. And there's plenty of room for future scarf finds. Woo hoo! For the first time ever all my scarves are stored in one place, in my closet (not in dresser drawers or shelves), not wrinkled, neat, pretty to see each day, not forgotten, so handy! DECEMBER 2016 UPDATE: The rods were slippery such that silky scarves slid off of them. Had to spray on a textured coating. Also over time I learned that I prefer a swivel hook at the top to make it easier to get to the scarves hanging on the "back" side.I love how many scarves this organizer can hold, and that it doesn't require scrunching them up like with ring designs. That said, the prongs are quite close together, making it difficult to fit thicker scarves as well as access individual scarves when full. Removing just one scarf can be a challenge. To see my scarves better, I found that it made more sense to hang them differently from the example photo: rather than have the scarf hang on both sides of the organizer, I slide the fold over a rung with the entire scarf hanging in front of the organizer, then alternate so the next scarf up hangs in back, the third scarf from the bottom hangs in front, etc. This gives me a clearer picture of my entire collection.I liked the sturdiness of the two belt/tie rack I received. The main reason I bought these is to hang and organize the 20 or so belts I had cluttering up my drawer-space. These racks really solved my problem, I am able to hang all of my belts on the two racks along with the 10 or so ties I wear on an infrequent basis.I needed a way to store and transport 100 custom lanyards with heavy light-up pendants attached, which were bought as gifts for company employees for Christmas. This hanger worked beautifully to keep them organized and unwrinkled. It will be useful as a scarf and tie holder as well now that the gifting is done. The lanyards weighed several pounds because of the additional pendant weight, but this sturdy hanger did not bow or bend at all. They hung on it for at least three weeks before the Christmas party. I recommend this product for light or heavy organizational tasks.This product works very well for scarves that easily fold and/or infinity scarves. Very thick scarves, scarves with decoration, and silk scarves do not work nearly as well. Sometimes when removing one others come off but this works about as well as any other system I've found.Evidently I am a scarf junkie. I had them in plastic egg crates before. Now I can see them and hold them up to an outfit to make my decision before I take off the hanger. Works for infinity & regular.These really organized my husband ties, I bought two since he has so many. He now can Visually look and grab the one he needs to match his suits!! Keeps the ties from getting wrinkled. Should have bought these asking time ago.Works well for hanging my bandanas.
