I looked long and hard for a mud room system. The ones sold online pre-built tend to me much smaller and can store very few things. I was excited to have found this system where you can combine a few pieces together.It's very solid unit made of pressed wood and MDF. Easy to put together. However, it's very heavy, so best to have someone set it up and move around with you. I combined two of these with the multi storage shoe cubby and added a crown molding up top, so now it looks custom. I also ordered two custom cushions to complete the look.The only ding of a star is due to the fact that they shipped the wrong item the first time, and one box with cracked boards. They sent a replacement with no issue, however, it made the process longer than I wanted.It works out great for our closet ...but it came with chips on it and two noticeable dents on the front of it so that was disappointing to see after setting it all up setup was smooth and very easyThe quality is what you expect for the price, nice design , sturdy easy to put together , wry good customer serviceOnce assembled, looks cheap. Not worth the money.
