A few reviewers were like me and clipped the round end that holds the ironing board on the door, then complained that the door won’t close. Look at the illustrations in the sellers photos and mount on the door properly. Great item.Works perfectly on my tall 8 ft door.I have a slimline ladder I keep in my pantry that used to be stored behind the door. Every now and then, the ladder would tip over and slam against the shelving! No more…it now hangs on the back of the pantry door.Does what it shouldIt fits on my door and the ironing board is out of the wayThe quality seems really good. It seems pretty sturdy and holds my ironing board well. I like that I can open my door all the way and the board doesn’t hit the wall. My holder came missing one of the rubber covers that go over the ends but I don’t think they’re necessary anyway. I only marked it down because I cannot close my laundry room door all the way which is inconvenient because I like to close it to block the noise.This is great for getting the ironing board off the floor, however the bottom of the ironing board bangs against the door when you open it.Purchased a Sunbeam one that was curved over the door top and had to return because I couldn’t shut the door.This one was perfect!!!!!! It holds my ironing board perfectly and I can shut the door. It doesn’t appear flimsy either. For price I paid an to receive in 2 days this was beyond worth it!If you've treated yourself to one of those extra big ironing boards (you know the ones I mean) and have since found that normal overdoor ironing board holders leave it dragging on the floor, this is what you've been searching for. Because this doesn't leave space for an iron like all the others I tried, this one hangs the ironing board higher up the door than the others, therefore keeping it well away from the floor. This item is very well made from strong metal and easily supports the weight of the heaviest board available (I'm talking about the D, btw). The hooks are large enough to easily hold the larger legs of your board, but are also rubber cushioned at the tips so they don't damage them. All in all I'm delighted with this, it's perfect for my needs.Well manufactured and there lies the problem. Made from 2mm (approx) steel it, there isn't sufficient gap between my door and top of frame to fit. Have tried it on every door in the house, none of them can close with this on. I would say you need at least a 5mm gap between the door frame and door top for this to fit. Yes I could plane the door top, but have now used a thinner towel hanger to do the same job! It will probably now end up hung over a joist in the garage waiting for me to find something to hang on it!I was looking for something strong to hang my ironing board on the inside of my utility room door. Does the job perfectly with no chance of it falling. It does slide around so be careful if it’s a door you open and close regularly. My door is an inner door that never gets closed.Really great value for money,no holes needed fits over door perfect and takes a large minky ironing board, its a bit wobbly but very secure,and has given me more room, love this product.Perfect solution for hanging an ironing board without having to fix it to a wall or door. That said, I did have to screw it in to the top of the door to stop it sliding about. Hadn't realised that this was coming from the USA which took ages, but I wasn't in a desperate hurry so it wasn't too much of a problem.
