44x24x5 is the dimensions, leaving plenty of room for 5 curved hangers comfortably and 10 normal thin hangers. My bags didn't have a strong odor of any kind. There is a small piece of cedar attached to the center of the back of the bag to ward off moths, it can be removed to put a new peace in it if necessary.I called the Men's Warehouse and asked about the cedar. They said it doesn't take much of that cedar to keep the moths away, so thats okie dokie. They also said moths are very sneaky and most of the time you don't even know they are in your cloths. So make sure to keep the bag closed in the closet.The face of the bag is completely clear to see all your stuff. I have 2 sets of suits in each one with belts and ties i put at the bottom and a lint roller and and none of it is touching my cloths, there is more room for other stuff if i need, The bags are long enough for my over coat as well.These bags are very well made, well stitched and durable. All my other bags i've had, came apart where the hangers come through the top, these bags are reinforced at the top so that doesn't happen. This bag is much better than most. I bought 2 of them to check out a couple months ago, and I bought another 2 today. I use the bags a lot for travel so i know they can take some abuse.Any questions feel free to ask. I also liked the cedar chip to help with keeping the suit fresh.For what this costs, I'd say it's a good deal. Well made. Pretty Durable. Nothing bad to say, really. I always add extra cedar planks to these. This comes with a very little cedar plank. But, still worth the money.Most of this seems well-made, but after 5 years the synthetic brown piping material started flaking off. It got worse over time and I just got rid of it (after 8 years). I don't wear suits often, so (a) don't get much chance to be annoyed, but also don't put much wear into the bag. On the other hand, I've moved a number of times since owning this bag.It's a closet-hanging bag, not really designed as a travel bag. Maybe if you live in one place for a decade, the piping won't flake off on you. But it's too bad they had to line the edges with crappy material.This bag is sturdy and well made. The entire front is clear vinyl with a vertical, full-height zipper. All other side are (breathable) cotton/polyester canvas. It has a slit in the top center, from front to back, for the loops of hangers to emerge. All sides are sewn with plain seams bound with a synthetic-looking binding tape.I don't know for sure, but I doubt that moths could enter through the fabric, seams or zipper. To repel moths from the slit I have placed some cedar rings over the hanger loops, sitting just outside the slit.I have placed within my bag one suit, two sports coats and two pairs of slacks, for a total of five hangers. The bag is comfortably full. The slacks are hung vertically from pants-cuff hangers, and are a bit scrunched up at the bottom of the bag. I think I need the bag to be about two inches taller.The small slab of cedar slips into two loops sewn into the middle of the back of the bag. It's a nice piece of cedar, but I wonder how much benefit such a small piece can have.Altogether it's a highly satisfactory product, and is better than I thought it would be at this very low price.I bought this for storage of my suits after moths got to one of my jackets (which is now unwearable). I was able to fit 4 suits into one bag, but keep in mind that I have my suits hanging on thick cedar hangars. If you hang your suits on standard hangars, you could easily fit more. The bag comes with a small plank of cedar, which will hopefully help deter moths. However, I would certainly recommend adding more cedar to the bag or using cedar hangars, as the included plank is small and the one included with the bag I received didn't have much cedar odor left to it.I'm a tall man, and my suits fit very well inside. Also important is the canvas construction, which will allow your clothing to "breath". The number one reason I've been told NOT to use suit/clothing bags is that clothes need to breath, however the canvas construction solves this issue.The only small issue that some people might want to know about is that initially this bag has a very strong smell of plastic, due to the clear plastic front (smells like a new shower curtain, if that's helpful). This smell will undoubtedly fade after a short time, but just thought this was worth mentioning in case some individuals are sensitive.Overall I highly recommend this bag--I'm ordering another one as soon as I post this review.I just received two of these and they are as good as the other reviews describe. I will add that the only draw back I found is in the hanger opening at the top of the bag. The slit where the hangers come out of the bag is fairly large and can be a spot for moths to enter. If you want a completely sealed bag, you will have to tape or clip the opening shut. I also found that the bags could fit 3 suits comfortably, and I wouldn't want to go more than that, especially with large suit/jacket wood hangers. I find these are best for long term storage, or some travel, since it is a bit of a pain to remove just one suit with 3 suits in a bag. You have to remove all of them if you need the one in the back. I've also looked at similar but much bigger bags at The Container Store for ~$21. (*I recommend them for nice wood hangers). I went with these DAZZ bags because I don't have that many suits yet, and these come with cedar.PS I have since bought the "Natural Cotton Garment Bags" at The Container Store and I'm also VERY happy with those as well, recommended for hanging closet storage.A nice, capacious garment bag. It doesn't get four stars because I'm using it as part of a protection plan against carpet beetles and it is hard to tape up the hole at the top.Good durable clothing storage bag, keeps dust off your seasonal wardrobe and smells nice and fresh.Materials seem fine, but not much in the way of cedar scent from the (very) small piece included.It's a bag and does what it is supposed to do. Good quality construction.Excellent product, even better than written up.
