I like it, but don’t love it. The design is cute and kind of goofy but could go with the right décor. The light changes colors with different settings and will switch just based on a clap. There’s a small instruction booklet.Some downsides: on/off button is around the back, not the front, which made it a little more of a chore when I wanted to turn it off completely. Cable is a USB, NOT a plugin wall charger – it does not come with a wall charger. I did not like the setting where the lights changed; an accidental bump, jostle, or noise would change the color and I didn’t like all of the colors. It could also be distracting. The light itself has only 2 different brightness settings but is not that bright even on the highest. Enough for some warm light at night, not enough to light up a room.Personally, while I didn’t think this was that bad it also didn’t wow me. I’d rate this average. Cute, not incredibly practical for an office or nursery.This octopus lamp is exactly as pictured and is simply adorable! It's made out of soft silicone so won't break if it falls accidentally, which makes it perfect for kids' rooms.It comes with a USB cord, but no AC adapter. I like that you can charge it and go cordless - move it to where you need it without worrying about cords and outlets.I love that the brightness is adjustable, and that it can change colors (although I personally prefer soft white :))It would be great if it came with remote control to make adjusting the brightness and changing color easier, and if it could remember your preferred (or last used) setting.For the price, though, it's good as-is.
