I'm always looking for something to make packing more efficient and definitely had my doubts about these. I didn't understand how compression cubes could possibly work. I bought these two pack for a week-long trip to Korea and I definitely recommend them! You open them as normal and pack what you can in them, zip up the top of it, and then start to zip the compression portion. I honestly fit so much into my luggage thanks to these. I especially recommend if you are going somewhere and you know your luggage is going to be packed with souvenirs or other things on the way home. It definitely saves on space! Just be careful not to overpack them. If you run into too much resistance and you are not able to poke the clothes down with your fingers, don't force the zipper.I love the feel of the material.I washed these bags using the handwashing cycle, turned them inside out before washing. The bags were practically dried when removing them from the washing machine. Hung them to dry. These bags are awesome! You can use them as packing or compression. To identify the items, just use a piece of paper or tape on the outside...easy peasy. The mesh ones didn't appeal to me. I have a feeling these bags are going to last a very long time!I highly recommend these!Loved these! I will never pack without them again. Lots of great sizes to fit everything you need. Bought one in each color for a family trip. The teens loved them and easily pulled out clothes for the day without unpacking everything. Also after clothes were worn we put them back in a cube and then easily took that to the coin laundry. The compression zipper was really handy and helped secure everything to fit in a carry on. But if you have larger items you don’t have to compress and that works too. Definitely recommend these. They never tore or showed wear. And the zippers are well made. The front mesh made it easy to remember what was inside.Bought these because I needed it for a trip I was going on where the airline only allowed a personal item so I needed to save as much space as possible. These were perfect for me to fit the clothing I needed to bring. Everything fit and it was a life saver! Definitely recommend! To test the claims of this product I laid several T-shirts in the large bag, still room, in went several more items. Sure enough it compressed my plus sized clothes more than I expected but not as much as I hoped. I filled and compressed a small bag with lots of undies keeping my clothing together, should my bag be searched. I like the handles. Bottom line, less impressed than I expected, would I buy them again. probably not but I'll use the ones I have. These little bags are the best! I recently went to Hawaii, and of course over packed. I used the BAGAIL compression bags and they gave me so much room in my suitcase. Even on the way home I had extra room in my luggage for souvenirs! The bags are super durable, waterproof, and easy to use (unlike some others that I bought in a store). They can be used over and over. I highly suggest these!Works well for compression of clothing & such - compressed everything well & saved about 75% of space. Got the flamingos & I love the pattern. Am going to buy a set for my Husband.Good price too - got the set of 4 & love the different sizes of cubes - each has it’s own use & nestles together well in a carry on suitcase. Definitely only fill them about 2/3 of the way full if you’re traveling on a plane or else your bag may become overweight.I was able to pack for ten days. I used all four bags, rolled my clothes, zipped them flat and put them in a carry on and duffel bag. I will use these over and over. They are a great. My clothes were a little wrinkled but no different than laying them in your luggage.Nice for organising but down side is that everything does get very creased up.Planning on a vacation soon so will try these out and add to this review. If you want them, order early it took 10 days to get delivered and that was on Amazon Prime. There were several choices of colour but the price was as much as $20.00 more for some of the nicer colours. Not sure what the marketing strategy is on that -- so I took the pink because it was the lowest price at $39.00. The pink is as bright as it shows -- I am ok with it.Air travel in the current post-pandemic chaos is quite the trip - it feels a bit like rolling the dice as you wave off your checked luggage and wonder when or if you'll ever see it again. Pre-pandemic, I had come to the conclusion that carry-on travel was not for me given most holidays involve long-haul flights and lengthy stays. I've been a big fan of packing cubes for a long time, as they keep me organised on the road while appealing to my slightly-OCD soul ... but I had yet to discover the miracle of packing cubes which also compress. This trip (8 weeks on the road in the US, including the civil rights trail, a family wedding and five solid days in the Orlando theme parks) I think I may have cracked it, thanks to these babies.I'm heading off with a carry-one that *just* squeaks into the international carry-on parameters of 115 linear cm with a 10kg weight limit, and a personal item/backpack that admittedly may be testing the concept of "personal item". These compression bags mean I don't have to sacrifice style for portability, which is important to me, given my days of backpacker dressing are long past. There are of course limits. I've still needed to think carefully about what I take and condense it all down into a capsule wardrobe. I've ensured I haven't ridiculously overstuffed these bags (as I do the vacuum-compression storage bags I use for seasonal clothes and linen storage at home). I have been particularly careful to concentrate when closing the second, "compression" zipper, so I don't break the zips that way. But that's the case with all cubes, really: you can't realistically expect a product to perform if you insist on pushing it beyond the limits of reasonable use. (My husband - not a patient man by any stretch - also had no trouble with the one measly bag I allotted him from my own stash). The zippers ran smoothly and feel strong and secure, with no pulling at the seams. The bags themselves: these ones are a fraction of the price of the more expensive set I ordered elsewhere, and the quality appears equal if not better. Of course the proof will be in the pudding, and should they disintegrate on me sometime during the next two months I'll come back and report when and how they let me down.In summary: these compression cubes may not the absolute best you can get, but nor are they a ridiculous price. So far I'm prepared to say they hit the sweet spot for those of us who still want to travel extensively but would rather divert our dollars to the trip itself rather than the tools we use to get there.First time using packing cubes and I love them for when you are living out of a suitcase.I can pack shirts in one, pants or shorts in the other, socks and undergarments in another. So easy to keep my suitcase organized. I wouldn’t bother using them if I was going somewhere that I can unpack my clothes into a dresser or shelves. We have a 2 week driving trip coming up, as these will be great! My husband asked me to get him some too!
