I'm a lefty and hate spirals, so I keep my legal pad in the front, then tuck the flap behind it. Padfolios are too bulky, so I ordered these to back my legal pads for notes in class. At the end of the lecture I just tear the pages, staple the packet for that days notes and file it behind the legal pad. Great little system, highly recommend the folder either way. I ordered another version as well with more sections.
