Assembly is easy once you understand the process. Important: Make sure you assemble the front doors first and all in the same direction (Open left to right). 1 door arrived with the top snap in broken off (The door is nice, however not a necessity). Open the door and reach in to help assemble the back. VERY IMPORTANT: Make sure the raised end is facing up on both the front and back. Stack them where you want and organize your shoe obsession. I got a set of small and large.It does what it claims to do, but the cost is unreasonableI like it!Grandsons sneakers.Pick up these awesome shoe organizers before they realize that they underpriced them! They’re perfect for those that really love organization. Very clean looking. I like how the front door of the box opens and that there are ventilation holes in the back to keep high end sneakers from staying stinky. Lots of help through videos show me how to set up and disassemble shoeboxes for moving or storing.I was looking for actual display cases. The ends on this are white plastic, not clear. And the sides have a pattern in them so they aren’t really see through. I should have read description better. They are not hard plastic, not solid.This was not the easiest to assemble.Great shoe containers. Purchased the XL for my boots and got rid of shoe shelves. Easy to assemble and love that I can use these vertically and horizontally. My only complaint is that I wish they locked when stacked. They slide around a bit when opening/closing the door. Otherwise, a great solution for many needs besides shoes and boots
