Bought this for hanging an insulated curtain custom-made (meaning I deconstructed an insulated panel to create a curtain with a rod-pocket added at the bottom) to fit a decorative window that allows in a lot of light and heat in late summer to early fall. The rod was easy to adjust in advance to the correct length, then tighten once in place to ensure it was securely installed. I’m very happy with the functionality of this good-looking shower rod/curtain rod.
