With the HUNDREDS of these type of lights offered - shopping was long and hard - searching for the best choice.Reading and researching led me to buy these. Their lighting output is very good, the sizing and styling is adequate, and the functionality is as advertised.Once the quality, sizing, & mounting meet one’s taste, budget, and needs - these next 3 things become paramount:The highest priority for deciding on which unit is better should be based on how long they operate on a charge.China’s Lithium battery quality is “all over the place”, and their advertised performance is often deceptive.Unfortunately, having these installed in my closet only a few days, I cannot report the quality of service I am getting yet - since this pair remains on their first charge cycle.The next “priority” to consider is “positioning” or placement. I was disappointed to learn that these cannot be placed to face each other, with the expectations that both will be triggered by motion and turn on.Their sensors interfere with each other & are unable to function properly when placed this way, (typically only 1 light will turn on). This hurt my plan - since I initially mounted them this way. I placed them vertically, on the sides of the doorway walls, facing “inward” - shining across the closet doorway, looking @each other.My original idea was to “split” their light output to shine above and below the closet shelf (to illuminate items above as well as below, from each side of the closet).Having just remodeled/repainted this closet and its flooring, I was disappointed to have already mounted both magnetic strips on the walls (using the double-sided tape) when I discovered this “anomaly”. I am certain that removing either of the tape strips at this point will ruin the paint job I just completed. (So please be wiser planning your placement than I was).Lastly - the mounting itself requires double consideration. Besides the detail already explained above, the charging for each unit must also be in the plan. The ceiling in this particular closet is textured - such that using the tape on its surface to securely mount a light would not be possible.But my remodeling included adding 1 AC receptacle inside the closet, which I find to be very handy. So I also considered potential routes for running USB cables, in the event that we decide to charge the units without removing them. I could use a couple of USB extender cables to charge them in place, (via a wall brick charger).With these items pointed out - AND IF the units still fit your plan for adding lighting to your particular closet or area of darkness….. I DO recommend them. The MINOR drawbacks I listed are also common to all others I have researched - and the lighting, styling, and overall quality of these units still seem to be superior at their price. The wild card of course, will be the life of their battery performance. BEST OF LUCK!We have two closets in our house that do not have lighting. These were so easy to install, the motion detection works extremely well and they are nice and bright.Perfect for a closet or any other small space.I would not recommend these for a larger room such as a garage but they are great for smaller spaces.These installed in my closet in a snap (with sticky tape) and are so easy to take down and recharge. They are very bright so I can actually see my clothes now! As soon as I open a closet door the light is on. I do need to keep the door shut or they will turn on when I walk past, but that's the way motion detection works! I'd buy these again!I bought these a while ago to use in my basement laundry room rather than install permanent fixtures- they were great for that purpose. The motion sensor is sensitive and seems to be able to “see” a rather large range- no waving your hand around to keep triggering the light to stay on. They’re lightweight and w the magnets built into the light you can really easily change where you mount them.I was recently traveling cross country in my camper van and brought the lights to use for camp lights. They hold their charge well, are bright but not blinding and glaring when you’re in darker sky areas, and of course easily attach to anything metal. Like the awning bracket on the side of the van. Where I forgot one of these lights the morning we began the drive from central California to Massachusetts. Flash forward several very long days of highway driving later, across some very windy stretches of I-40, and very bumpy stretches of many other roads…… we make it back to Massachusetts and THE DAMN LIGHT IS STILL THERE. And it still had power.So needless to say these light bars are pretty phenomenal.Got this to replace an old closet fluorescent fixture. They charged up nicely, and the double sided steel plates held the two lights in place next to each other well. Stayed on with motion, then gently faded off. Came on quickly when the closet was open. Magnets aren't super strong, but when I was demonstrating them to mom, I tapped the light on the left with the other one when removing it (to show how they charge), and it fell seven feet to the hardwood floor. Never even flickered, let alone broke... Impressively tough light! So, the only downside is the magnetic surface isn't that strong, but other than that, l like these. Just installed, but if the charge lasts as long as other buyers claim, should have a winner.This unit really lights up the interior of our linen cabinet, especially the top 2 shelves where all the soap, shampoo, and first aid items are stored. The second one is in our reach-in closet and it does a great job as I don't have to turn on the overhead or a table lamp to see the clothing I want. I have had these lamps installed a little over a month and so far I have only had to charge the one in the closet as it gets the most use. I may buy more for the other closets. They provide ample lighting.I bought 2 of these lights for my closet. The lights themselves are good quality and very bright. The magnet in the light is very strong and the motion sensor in my closet works perfectly. There was oneissue with one of the lights and I contacted the seller about it and wow....just awesome customer service. The responded to me very fast and went over and above and just sent me a replacement the next day and it arrived very quickly. So overall I'm extremely pleased with the lights, the price, and especially the customer service. I would definitely buy again!!Thank you very much I love them
