I love everything about this organizer! The easy assembly was just the start! It served its purpose and added more usable space in my closet. The best usage...a place for my bags and clutches!!It is well designed. The assembly is easy. Worth the money.This organizer was easy to put together, I did so with my 9yo. It's been sturdy so far and i have alot of clothes hanging from the bottom.I calculate I have expanded the storage capacity of my closet by 33% with this ClosetMaid Organizer. Now I can see and find everything. Extremely easy to assemble, with no tools needed. I did adjust my closet hanging rod up a few inches to better accommodate my longer hanging items, which makes it all more perfect. I strongly recommend as a great design at a value price.It was fairly easy to put together but it would NOT latch when I tried to put it around the closet rod. I finally just ducted taped it together and hope it holds. I like the look of it otherwise. Just what I was looking for.So I have had this since September 2021, I have finally organized my closet to my liking and thought now would be a good time to do a review. Well, first off, I live in a rental and have a thick wooden rod going through the closet and have a pretty deep shelf up top. The shelf is like wasted space. The organizer is perfect for my closet however I give it 4 stars because it barely clips around the wooden rod. It is just a bit too thick. The shelves are great, however the two rods I assume are for blouses and pants are a little off in my closet. If I put skirts on the bottom hanger they drag on my floor and if I put blouses on the top they are too long. Yesterday the lower rod just snapped. All my skirts and pants are on my closet floor. I have to rearrange everything now. It wasn't even heavy or anything. I tried to fix it but the plastic is broken in half. The shelves are great but bummed about the rods as I am unable to use them now. I would measure before you buy to make sure it will clip to your closet rod.This product is easy to assemble and a great extension for your closet. However the parts are poor quality and the unit itself is easily breakable.Putting the shelves together was very straightforward and simple. One of the top clamps does not close over my wooden closet rod though. The plastic piece to hold the shelf’s rod on arrived broken. I chose to remedy this by adding a separate closet extender on each side instead.I just moved into our new condo and my boyfriend gave me the small walk-in closet (bless his soul). I wanted a little more than just the basic shelves but I didn’t want to add a wardrobe (see last photo). I was hoping something like this existed so I was pretty excited when I stumbled upon this on Amazon. It took only a few minutes to assemble and was much sturdier than I thought it would be, based on some reviews.It is perfect!!! The side bar is expandable (I didn’t extend it at all) and the shelves are solid. I highly recommend this!!When I unpacked the organizer one of the pieces was broken so I contacted the company & they said that they’d send out a replacement part but that was only a week ago & still no part. So I put it together anyway & used cable ties for now. But it doesn’t work very well in my closet. I can only hang shirts & pants on the bottom rail because my current closet bar which is 63” high is too low. I only get a 25” space to hang & I need 36” at least.Great organizing product. I’m very into organizing and I’m trying to get my little son to be organized too. So this product helps to keep his closet in order while adding some more storage.If you’re looking for a solution for a closet that comes only with the top metal shelf, this product was made for you! It’s easy to assemble and it doesn’t require any tools. Only thing is that the shelves could have a larger depth. Also, the product regulates its width, but to a maximum of 132cm (please check again), so make sure your closet isn’t wider than that.Like some other reviewers have mentioned there's a tendency for some parts to be made defectively. A piece of plastic snapped off of the closet rail connector but the railing still held up quite well. That said, I'm still being mindful not to hang too many heavy items on the railing. The railing isn't that sturdy to begin with anyway.However, the shelves are good quality and assembly didn't take long at all. Overall I really like my Closetmaid system and how much it's helped to organize my space!
