Really love this desk. Was easy to assemble and very nice looking. Only issue is two of the letter stickers when pulled off left marks on the side that is showing. So had to paint those grey spots white.Just as pictured, easy to assemble and seems like it will hold up well. We needed a small desk to hold paperwork, etc. this works perfectly!I found the best price for this item and it's related components on Amazon from Cymax. Each item was extremely well packed and there was no damage in shipping. Every part is labeled and the instructions are excellent. If I remember correctly most parts are 3/4 inch pressed/particle board, corners are assembled with metal cam locks and bolts, The hinges are huge. The back is thin cardboard with an identical finish. This is heavier than I expected and I will surprised if it doesn't last years. The hardest part was aligning the front doors as the hinges allow for two or more adjustments to level up and down and extend to meet the opposite door. Two of the pre-drilled holes for the cam locks were not deep enough, but it all still worked. I'm almost 50 and I assembled most of it without my husband, except for a balancing act here or there to keep corners at a tight 90 degrees.This took seriously 5 hours to put together. It was not easy. The topper is just two seperate pieces that do not fit good on top there is 1 inch on each side. I had to sit on a small stool instead of a chair to use my laptop and there is hardly any room to use your mouse. Did not like it. The color is pretty, but didn't like anything else about it.This is a heavy, nice looking piece. It seems well made and is sturdy. The color is a tan gray, so it's not an exact match with my other pieces. But, it looks so good, I'm okay with that. The only complaint I have is the cardboard back piece. This is worth the price. It was easy to assemble.Love it! I have it by the garage entry way for storage instead of a desk but it’s great for the space and east on the eyes.Fit perfectly in the small spot we had for it. Great mail station just inside the front door.It looks absolutely gorgeous and has solved a lot of our clutter problems. Love it.
