When i opened the package it was love at first sight everyone who saw it loved it,and you will to it’s well made looks rich.And I don't mean in a good way. I didn't think about it when I ordered these hooks, because all the other over door hooks I have, and I have a lot, are the depth of my doors, which I just measured at an inch and a half. The trouble with putting these hooks on an inch and a half door is that extra quarter of an inch. When the door is closed, no matter which side you have the hooks installed on, they stick out that quarter of an inch and don't lie flush to the door. Which means when you hang something on them they go sproing and bang against the door. These are very pretty and sturdy hooks, and they would be great if your door was one and three quarter inches, or if you mounted them on the wall with screws. For my door which is an inch and a half, they are not satisfactory. Live and learn.*******Addendum after receiving a second one, which I ordered even though the first one was not completely satisfactory because it was still the best I could find. There was a bit of a manufacturing flaw in the first one. The reason it didn't lie flat against the door when mounted on the correct side is that the arms were a bit warped. The second one doesn't have that issue and lies flat against the door, as long as you install it on the correct side.You have the opinion of screwing it on for extra security but that was necessary in my case. I’m so happy I ordered this. I needed something to hang my coats and cardigans on.Works well and love the rose gold color.I have never left a review on Amazon and it’s not because I don’t buy stuff here! This was PERFECT for my house which lacks closets. I use this which is the door to the garage. Nobody forgets things. Our needs are here. I even hang my keys here. Sturdy, attractive, easy to hang over the door. Can go on the wall too which I will do with one of the others I bought! Fantastic product and value. Came on time. Holding a lot here - that backpack weighs a ton!I like the length and the double handle makes it very sturdy.I couldn’t find an extra double towel rack that fit in my remodeled bathroom. My only option was to replace an old over-the-door towel rack that had 3 separate rods for towels. The newer ones either stuck out too far so I couldn’t close the bathroom door, or they were really cheap looking. This style fits perfectly and we can hang a couple towels spread out over the hooks, but any more than that and they don’t dry. We have a lot of company so it works pretty well. I may get a couple more to hang in the guest rooms for their towels or whatever. Love the black color and the quality construction.Very easy to install. I loved that it came with pads to protect the door from scratches. It's long enough that someone only 5'2" can still reach it easily to hang a towel. The price was very competitive.Love this wanted to tidy up coats , very pleased great sturdy product, good quality looks more expensive than it is, would recommend .This overdoor hook is great. The hooks are a little big longer for your door and as I have biggish doors they are perfect. They are also a really good size for a general door. It looks really good and seems to be good quality. Happy with delivery and quick to arrive. I would recommend.Would've preferred 1 piece however i had to put This togerher. Its not sterdy however for the price paid ive decided to keep the product.The build of this is not great and it wobbles a littleMuch better what I expected! Exactly as described. As a single woman it helped me to solve my hook issue in my bathroom just by simple hand on the bathroom door. It's very sturdy, a lot of hooks, plus a nice gold colour finish not the fake yellowish one, very elegant. I love it!Plenty of hooks for coats, towels, dressing gown etc.Smaller towel has a tendency to slip off the bottom hook but that's no big deal.Fits over the bedroom door perfectly and the long 'arms' on it mean that I can reach the hooks easily (being on the shorter side).
