I bought the 2-6 shelf version to put in my small disastrous cleaning closet. I wanted something that I could put up on the shelf above the stairway. I needed something lightweight, easy to clean (duh!), not too deep, only so tall, with little shelves for all of the doodads and fuzzy things that run rampant in my closet. These are perfect! They are the right size for all those things. I even found a 6 pk of Soujoy storage baskets that are the perfect size for each shelf, not too heavy to bend the shelves. Feeling like a genius! I hate to mess it up....Great sturdy shoe rack. It comes with the ability to separate the compartments as needed. It was also easy to assemble/in assemble it took me less then 10 min. It’s very light. I am a little worried about the plastic bending or getting weaker if taken down or added to over time. Perfect for small spaces.This is all I got from this product, I think is incomplete.Just looking inside the box made me tired.After regrouping emotionally, I started assembling everything. Yes, it’s plastic, but it is a bit nicer than I’d anticipated, in terms of being nicely molded pieces with a fairly solid (again, for plastic) feel. Once you get the hang of which piece goes where, each comes together simply and you can play around with how many you want to stack.I like that there are included connectors to help keep things level across stacks. I also like that the sizing of each subunit means there are potentially a myriad of ways they can be used to fit into a fairly small space.I also appreciate that the box has directions for what to do it pieces are broken: contact Amazon for replacement.I will say that for how obviously the box is labeled for girls and women, I didn’t so clearly interpret from the listing that this product wouldn’t work for even average male-person sized shoes.Anyway, I’m fairly sure I’m going to return it…I found another option that will make better use of my space without all that plastic to have to be careful not to crack.Really good quality, super easy to assemble it and a good sizeI have a variety of flip flips and sandals near my entry that I've been placing in a box for the past few years. I saw this and thought it fit the bill for my small place. It was very easy to put together with the included (hard plastic) hammer. I stacked them all together so there was one extra flat panel since I didn't do the side by side as pictured. But now I have six pairs stacked and I can also put another pair on the very top if necessary. It looks neat and fits perfectly in the small space so I'm very happy!Shie pockets very small. Even normal tennis shoes are too big. They should double the height.
