I tried packing without and with these bags. The vacuum bags win on how much you can get in, plus I don't think they wrinkled as bad. I like the smaller bags best. The large ones were harder as they took up all the space and did not curve as well to take up every nook and cranny. Easy to use, but make sure to put your weight into the last bit to roll it tight. They were fantastic for dirty clothes. Totally reusable after opening.Sent my daughter oversees for university. We used these bags to compress her winter clothing and saved significant space. Use a vacuum if you have one. The band pump works but it's a work out.Once you get out figured out it's really easy to use. My husband is able to roll them with his hands. I have to lay on the bags with my body to get the air out and then start to roll them smaller.Bought these bags for our upcoming backpacking trip. I read reviews about the air not staying suctioned so I tested it out first. No complaints. It stayed auctioned for a week. I was able to pack 14 pieces in the small bag, although more would be able to fit. The big one has over 20 pieces. Highly recommend.Used these bags to assist packing between carry on and checked baggage. Was very usefulI bought this for a 3 week trip. I wanted to make sure that I could pack everything I needed, without the need for more suitcases & these DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The large bags fit PERFECTLY in my large suitcase and the Medium fit PERFECTLY in my carryon suitcase! I was able to pack everything that I needed with room to spare! The only downside is that I had a hard time rolling the bags once filled to get all of the air out of them.. I even had my adult son who is much stronger than I am, help me - and he struggled a bit as well! We were able to make it work by rolling as much as we could and then just kneeling on or pressing on the bags in the direction of the air release! Overall they met my needs which is the reason for the 4 stars but the ease of use is more like a 3! I will definitely use these EVERY TIME I TRAVEL because they do save so much space, kept my clothes wrinkle free, and made unpacking when I got back home SO EASY as well! I would still recommend these, just know that it does take a lot of work to get all of the air out of the bags!My clothes came out of the bags looking the same as when they were packed; clean, no wrinkles, did not shift during transit. Makes packing so much easier.It did what it was intended to do. Made my piles of clothes shrink and I still stayed underweight. I was very happy with this product and will gladly buy more if needed.If you want to save space when taking carry on luggage only. These bags are awesomeI love being able to bring a full size pillow for my motorcycle travels and these bags are perfect for that.
