The beauty of your home will shine with a set of GE-branded Wireless Remote LED Light Bars. The energy efficient LEDs instantly brighten any space in need of extra light. Each set includes three light bars along with a handheld remote for convenient wireless operation. The light bars can be operated remotely within a 50-foot range, as well as manually by simply sliding the switch located on the light. For stylish accent lighting, place the light bars underneath or on top of kitchen cabinets, shelves or bookcases. Additionally, you can use the light bars to increase visibility in smaller enclosed areas, such as closets and pantries. No electrical wiring makes for effortless installation — each set of light bars includes screws, anchors and double-sided tape for easy mounting. The wireless remote can also be mounted by using tape or the simple keyhole slot on the back. Each light bar requires 6 AA batteries (not included). Raise the bar for superior home lighting with a set of GE branded Wireless Remote LED Light Bars.
Initially installed under kitchen cabinets as back-up emergency lighting for the inevitable hurricanes of Florida, these illuminate the kitchen workspaces well, although as they eat batteries like popcorn, they are reserved for power outages only. Also, they're a little tricky to remove from the bracket and reload with fresh batteries.BE ADVISED: All the lights work off the same frequency. If you purchase several sets for different rooms, any one remote controls ALL of them. Separate frequencies can not be programmed. If you live alone or like messing with your family and pets, this is no problem. However, in order to keep our kitchen lights from turning on each time someone turns on the closet light, we must keep the kitchen lights clicked to the OFF position. We'll turn on the kitchen lights and turn off the closet light during the next power outage. So, not overly convenient.
